Melot Atelier was part of the 3rd Burgos Fashion Week, an event that once again confirmed the growing interest in fashion in Burgos and the value of local creative talent. Held at the Hotel Abba and attended by more than 150 people, the event sold out its invitations and brought together a range of brands and proposals with their own distinct identity on the runway.
For Melot Atelier, taking part in this edition of Burgos Fashion Week was an important opportunity to continue giving visibility to the project in a specialized environment, share my proposal, and be part of an event that strengthens the presence of fashion, design, and creativity in Burgos. Being present at an event of this kind allows me to continue consolidating the brand within a professional context and to connect with an audience interested in proposals with personality and attention to detail. Melot Atelier’s presence among the participating brands was included in the event coverage, alongside other local labels and the Belgian brand Oumi Fashion.
The 3rd Burgos Fashion Week brought a wide variety of proposals to the runway, with one clear common denominator: to show that Burgos has more than enough talent within the fashion sector. According to the information published about the event, the occasion stood out precisely because of this display of creativity and the strong response from the public, to the point of being completely sold out. This context makes my participation especially valuable, because it places Melot Atelier within an increasingly vibrant local conversation around design, craftsmanship, and emerging brands.
In my case, being part of Burgos Fashion Week fits fully with the essence of Melot Atelier. My project is born from a vision of fashion linked to artisanal work, the value of processes, and a more conscious way of creating. Taking part in a leading runway event in Burgos allowed me to show that identity in a relevant showcase and share a way of understanding fashion based on authenticity, quality, and attention to every detail.
Beyond visibility, these kinds of events are important because they help strengthen Burgos’s creative ecosystem. It is not only about presenting collections or designs, but also about generating connections, building community, and giving space to initiatives that help enrich the local scene. Even before the event, the organizers had pointed to a strong reception, with a capacity of 180 people and more than one hundred tickets sold in advance at different points of sale, including Melot Atelier. This reflects not only the interest in Burgos Fashion Week, but also the involvement of local businesses and brands in promoting initiatives of this kind.
For Melot Atelier, having taken part in this third edition also means continuing to move forward on a path of growth and positioning within the fashion scene in Burgos. Every event of this kind represents an opportunity to strengthen the brand’s presence, reach new audiences, and continue building a recognizable identity within the sector. At a time when differentiation, thoughtful production, and soulful proposals are increasingly valued, I believe it is important to keep supporting spaces where local fashion can be presented with strength and professionalism.
Another noteworthy aspect of this edition was its future outlook. The strong reception of the event and its attendance success have encouraged expansion plans for future editions, confirming that Burgos Fashion Week is becoming an important fixture on Burgos’s fashion calendar. For the participating brands, this is especially positive, as it opens up new opportunities for visibility, collaboration, and growth in an increasingly dynamic environment.
At Melot Atelier, I value very positively having been part of this edition. It has been an experience that allows me to continue building my journey, share my work on a prominent platform, and help highlight fashion made in Burgos. Participating in the 3rd Burgos Fashion Week meant being present at an event that promotes local talent, supports creativity, and shows that in Burgos there is room for projects with identity, sensitivity, and a vision for the future.
